Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-15

These terms govern your use of Progrmatic. By creating an account or purchasing content, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. Your account

You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to purchase paid content.

2. Purchases, pricing and access

Content can be purchased at different granularities — a full course, a section, a single lesson, or an individual material. Prices are shown per course at checkout. Some content is free to the public or to registered members; the rest unlocks after purchase. Where a course defines an access period, your access to that content is limited to that period; otherwise access is granted on an ongoing basis for as long as the content remains available on the platform. Prices may change as a course becomes more complete, but a price change never affects content you have already bought, and buying a course or a section also covers any lessons later added within its scope, at no extra cost.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers — currently ECPay, and we may add others over time. We do not store your full card details. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the charge for the items you select.

4. Refunds

We want you to buy with confidence: if you hit a technical problem, were charged in error, or are simply not happy with a course, contact us and we will help on a case-by-case basis, within reason. That said, our courses are digital content delivered without a tangible medium and unlocked immediately, so the statutory cooling-off right for distance sales does not apply once you unlock them — purchase confirms your consent to immediate access — and content already substantially used, along with free or admin-granted items, is not eligible for an unconditional refund.

5. Content and intellectual property

Courses, videos, and downloadable materials are licensed to you for your own personal learning. You may not redistribute, resell, publicly share, or republish the content or your downloaded materials without permission.

6. GitHub collaboration

Some courses offer collaboration through GitHub. Access is granted automatically on purchase for eligible courses, or after a manual review for others — the course page indicates which before you buy. When you link a repository, you authorize us to manage collaborator access (for example, adding the instructor) so that review and discussion can happen on your code. You remain responsible for your own repositories.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape or bulk-download content, share paid access, or use the platform to infringe the rights of others or violate the law. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The platform and its content are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant content.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.

10. Contact
